My First Picture Post....

This is the most recent picture of Caleb and me. It was taken at his younger brother's wedding in November 09'. (Yeah, I know it's sad our most recent picture is from November... Lay off!) I'm really just posting this in order to see if I know how to post a pic to our blog! I'm looking forward to posting more pics, if this works, that is...

Emergency Prepardness

So anyone who knows me knows that I am THE WORLD'S WORST WORRY WART! It's so horrible! I'm pretty sure it's an inherited trait because many of my family members are also worriers. I like to tell myself that because it makes me feel like I can't help but worry, it's just in my genes! Regardless, it drives Caleb NUTS because I often worry about things that A)will never happen OR B)cannot be controlled. Currently I am worried about a few things (which is totally normal for me), but towards the top of the list is what myself, and my family, would do in an emergency. I'm pretty sure this stems from one of my current work duties: helping a student in Science who is presently learning about earthquakes (lucky me, I know)... SO anyway, in order not to drive Caleb NUTS, by asking him, "What are we gonna do???" We have decided to do some emergency prepardness. We are putting together our emergency kits, and getting as much info as we can. As soon as we get them put together, I will post pictures. THEN, I will be forcing my parents to put one together as well, so I don't worry about them too! I'm SLOWLY starting to get the hang of it!!!

It's only been a day and I think I'm finally starting to get a hang of this whole blog thing. Yay for me! Hopefully posting will be easier than trying to set this thing up. I still haven't learned to post pictures yet, I'm easing into it. So I apologize for the borningness of the posts so far. Hopefully they will become more entertaining in the future!

No idea what I'm doing....

I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to run this thing, but I have been getting bugged to start a blog, SO we're just gonna see what we can do! I'm special, don't judge me...
